Class Dojo at ECS

At ECS we are currently using ClassDojo in grades five through eight to encourage the development of positive skills and provide a private space to share pictures and videos of joyful learning with our families. Students who meet their dojo goals are eligible to participate in field trips and Fun-Fridays! Since launch, we have seen tremendous growth and improvement, and our students have become very invested in earning their Dojo points.

 

For families, this is a great way to participate and get daily updates on their child's progress right from their mobile phone. Coupled with the PowerSchool Parent Portal, ClassDojo will give a more complete and up-to-date picture of how well their child is doing, allowing families to better support their children day-to-day. Some of the biggest strides we've seen is with scholars whose caregivers started using the platform to monitor and support their child, and we are encouraging all of our families to join in.
