Enterprise is a free, public school that enrolls up to 405 children in grades kindergarten through 8th grade. It is just like a district school, including busing, school lunch programs, and academic expectations, except it has a volunteer board of Trustees who oversee the operations. Charter schools have some additional flexibility in how they operate and educate children in the interest of offering diverse alternatives and personalized relationships with students and families.

 

We welcome any and all children from the Buffalo Public School District, and surrounding suburbs to apply. For Kindergarten, students must be five years old before December 1st of the school year they wish to enroll. Families of children with disabilities and those who are still learning English are strongly encouraged to consider Enterprise Charter School as a safe and welcoming school that is committed to the success of all learners.

 

Applications are submitted is via the Enroll Buffalo Charters website, and ECS staff will happily assist you with completing your application.

 

Any student who meets the age and residency requirements is eligible! However, when the number students who wish to attend ECS exceed the number of available spots, an audited lottery is held. After the lottery is closed and all students have been accepted, it is first-come, first-served.
